BEN LEGGETT

Ben Leggett directed Bram Bratá and OK2Botay, our two performing steel drum bands, and provided instruction for summer steel drum classes. Ben received his B.A. degree in Music Education from Central Washington University. As a music educator, he extensively used traditional percussion instruments to foster excitement about music and develop core music skills in elementary students. He has taught numerous classes and workshops on steel drum, Latin drumming and Samba. An accomplished musician, Ben arranges or composes most of the music used in classes and by the performing bands.
